When it comes to hiking, Washington Trails Association's members are the experts. You rack up the miles, roam the hills, scale the summits and comb the beaches. If anyone has a good hiking story to tell, it’s you!

For a special feature in the July-August issue of Washington Trails, we want to hear about your greatest days on trail—the days you’d love to live again, blissful days where everything went right, or crazy days that worked out for the best in the end.

We have listed seven "Best" and "Most" questions below. You don't need to answer all of these questions, just choose the one that is best for you!

And, if your yarn is featured in the July+August issue of the magazine, you'll not only get that fame, you'll also pick up a fun, new piece of gear from Gregory, TrekSta, Vibram, Teko, or Ibex. Good luck!

Tell us about an experience you shared on the trail brought you closer to the person/people with you.
Please share the great idea you dreamed up while out on a hike with us. (Unless you are pursuing a patent...then you should probably keep mum!)
Tell us about a day you spent volunteering for the environment--doing trail work, habitat restoration, beach clean-up, stream monitering, et cetera.
Breakfast, second breakfast, lunch, happy hour, dinner, dessert... Describe the best meal you've ever made in the backcountry. Where were you and how great did it taste?
Tell us about a peak that you'll always remember reaching.
Tell us about a brush with a wild animal, or animals.
Tell us about the trail that made you the hiker you are today or a hike that changed your life.
Do you have a high-resolution photograph to accompany the story you submitted above?
