Peshastin Pinnacles
state
park, west of Wenatchee, is popular among rock climbers for a great
selection of climbs amid sandstone spires and slabs. But it's also a
place to get a quick outdoor fix and take a quick 1.5-mile hike with
views to the Blewett Pass area and beyond. Peshastin is a little gem in
the state park system. This weekend, May 13-14, WTA will be leading a special two-day work party preforming important reconstruction work on the trail at Peshastin, which was damaged by fires in 2004. You're welcome to join us for either Saturday or Sunday, or spend the night and join us for both days of fun structure-building projects. Overnight volunteers will be treated to a free WTA barbecue on Saturday night. For more information or to sign up, visit this site.
