WTA is on Facebook
WTA now has a Facebook page, so now you can become a fan and let your friends know how much you appreciate all that WTA does for trails.
OK, I feel old. But I'm getting younger.
You see, WTA now has a Facebook page, and so I dutifully decided to create my own page so I could figure out what it's all about. Being close to 40, I think I'm somewhat Facebook challenged.
I'm still learning... I'm not sure what the heck Scrabulous is and I don't think I'll be posting my emotion of the day any time soon. But I have to admit it is kind of fun...
And what's great about Facebook--and those who have pages already know this--is that you can share with your friends what you really like and value. And for many of you, WTA is something you value.
So now, if you're a hiker who's on Facebook, you can call yourself a fan of WTA. Check out our page here and click on Become a Fan. You can also post to our wall, upload photos from work parties, discuss issues, and even see recent Signpost Blog entries (enabled by an RSS feed.) You can also invite all your friends to be a fans of WTA.
And for those of you who like hefting Pulaskis, building drain drips
and all that other crazy volunteer trail work stuff, you have your own WTA volunteer Facebook page here. Share your photos, brag about your great log-sawing accomplishments, or tell your favorite Mike Owens story.
