Corporate Partners

How companies can support Washington Trails Association; a list of current corporate partners.

REI work party
REI employees give a hand to recover trails at Mount Rainier from winter storm damage.

Washington Trails Association is proud to partner with companies that share our commitment to protecting hiking trails and getting people outdoors. Our corporate partners help WTA protect trails and wildlands where we live, work and play - from the Cascade foothills to our national parks. Together, we support the Northwest's quality of life and the well-being of our economy: active recreation is a $12 billion industry in our state.

How Your Company Can Support Trails

Corporate Membership: Become a corporate member of WTA to benefit trails and your business. Download our membership application for a full description of membership benefits and apply today.

Sponsorship: Sponsor a WTA program or event to connect directly with hikers and other outdoor enthusiasts. Opportunities include:

  • Membership Drive in May;
  • TrailsFest, an outdoor recreation extravanganza held annually in July;
  • Hike-a-Thon, a month long hiking event in August;
  • Northwest Exposure Photo Contest in October; and
  • Fireside Circle Annual Celebration in January.

Corporate Giving: Make a charitable gift, award a grant, or donate products and services.

Matching Gifts: Match employee cash or volunteer contributions to WTA.

Workplace Giving:  Include WTA, EarthShare Washington or both in your employee giving campaign.

Corporate Volunteering: Take your team out for a day of trail work with WTA. Current corporate members are given priority for scheduling.

To find out more about how your company can partner with WTA, please contact Rebecca Lavigne, development director, at (206) 625-1367 or rebecca@wta.org.
