The Fireside Circle honors those individuals who give $500 or more annually to Washington Trails Association. Your generous financial support helps guarantee a lifetime of outdoor adventure and exploration, for you and for generations to come.

In recognition of your partnership, we’ll keep you informed of how your investment is making a difference for hiking trails and wildlands. You’ll also enjoy special opportunities to hit the trail with WTA board members and staff, and see the results of your giving first-hand.

Examples of how we'll invest your gift:
  • Teaching a group of teens the art of trail maintenance. Your gift of $500 could help WTA lead a one-day service project with a school or youth group.
  • Helping 9,000 people go hiking! Your gift of $750 could help power our online Hiking Guide, with its 500 trail descriptions and 25,000 trip reports, for a week.
  • Sending a Backcountry Response Team to repair your favorite wilderness trail. Your gift of $1,250 could pay for up to 5 days of maintenance on a trail that’s beyond the reach of a day crew.
