Washington Trails Association and Inner City Outings are joining forces to help you learn how to have fun outdoors with your kids! We will discuss where to go, how to make trips safe, tricks to keep kids moving down the trail, Leave No Trace information and outdoor gear for both parents and youth.
Each attendee will receive a FREE REI Passport to Adventure for their kids. The journal is a place for kids to document outdoor adventures. Once kids have completed one outdoor activity (bike ride or hike) they can mail in the tear-off postcard provided in the journal to receive a certificate of completion, an REI coupon for a back-to-school pack and an REI prize (a multifunction whistle that includes thermometer, magnifier and compass).
