It just amazes me what a few hikers can accomplish. Although we are only ten days into August, 112 hikers have already raised $23,889 for trails! We've nearly doubled in participation over last year. But what of last year...it seems so long ago now. Wonder how we compare to Hike-a-Thon of recent years?
Introducing the Hike-a-Thon Hall of Fame, where you can not only take a look back through the history of Hike-a-Thon winners, but also hope to immortalize yourself in Hike-a-Thon glory!
Recently added: Kirk Clothier for raising the most money for Hike-a-Thon before August 1. Even more amazing is that Kirk was not one of the first to register...he was the 53rd! Kirk raised over $2,000 before we said good-bye to July. Great job Kirk!
Also just added to the Hike-a-Thon Hall of Fame, our first ever Team: Captain Kirk and the Redshirts. True the captain of said team is a well seasoned Hike-a-Thonner...but nearly all of his team mates are first timers. Incredible feat Redshirts!
There are still 20 days remaining in August. Plenty of time to register to participate in the event.
