Thanks for Six Great Years

Well, that's it...

Andrew at Cape Alava

I've really enjoyed six years as editor of Washington Trails magazine. I can't think of a better job, and it was thanks to all the great staff, board, and volunteer writers and photographers who really made it possible. It's been great fun, and it's been an honor to be a part of this amazing thing called Washington Trails Association. I will miss it, and all the great friends I've made along the way.
I took this job when my oldest daughter was just a few months old. And I"ve watched WTA grow with her, into a thriving amazing organization dedicated to trails. I've been inspired by the passion and dedication of volunteers: from the proofreaders to the writers to the photographers and all those dedicate trail workers.

Thanks to everyone, it's been a blast.

Thanks, Andrew. I learned some writin' stuff from you, and enjoyed your excellent sense of humor, which is probably the most important attribute for an editor.

I think of all the articles I wrote - probably only one was on time (sorry 'bout that). Two at most.

Looking forward to keeping updated on your blog - enjoy your time over there - it's a great experience for your family!
