Where Did Everyone Go This Weekend?
Monday is a day that desk-bound workers browse our Freshest Reports. We all wish we were out hiking, and it's fun to read reports and check out photos! Today there are only a few trip reports, but they are quality ones to be sure!
Heather Lake by "MntLoop Highway"
Along with other die-hard trip reporters, WTA’s Freshest Trip Reports includes a wonderfully written and humorous report by MtLoopHiker, who ventured to Heather Lake, off the Mountain Loop Highway.
Alpine Art was in a wandering mood, and practically exhausted Cougar Mountain’s trail system. Blewett Pass made an appearance with mytho-man’s Iron Bear trip report. Kim Brown reports the old growth forest interpretive trail and other trails at Rockport State Park is an excellent lowland destination (that awesome trip report is so well-written, I feel as if I were actually there!).
