Winter Trails Day is this Saturday
How about spending a day in the snow? Winter Trails Day, hosted by the Mounatineers, is this Saturday at Snoqualmie Pass.
We've attended Winter Trails Day several times before, and love the
hands-on snowshoe demos for all ages. If you are new to snowshoeing,
thinking about buying a new pair, or just love to try out new gear,
Winter Trails Day is the place for you this Saturday.
Winter Trails Day brings together snowshoe manufacturers, retailers and trip leaders for a whole bunch of fun. Each manufacturer and retailer brings a supply of their latest and greatest snowshoes for you to try out. Experienced, friendly trip leaders will take you on a short excursion to try the snowshoes out in a beautiful alpine setting.Washington Trails Association will be there with winter hiking tips and advice on spending a winter day outdoors with the whole family. (Rumor has it we'll will also be bringing up some hot beverages to share.) This event is free and open to everyone. Bring the family and discover a new way to enjoy the snow - on a pair of snowshoes.
