WTA Maintained Trails 2008

WTA volunteers have put 45,000 hours into 108 trails within Washington's trail network through July 2008. Check the list to see if your favorite trail has received the WTA touch and consider signing up for a work party today.

Have you ever hiked a beautifully maintained trail and wondered, "Who am I to thank for this fine trail?"

It's quite possible that a Washington Trails Association volunteer trail crew has  cleared blowdowns, repaired slide areas, fixed drainage issues and more on a trail that you've hiked this year. WTA volunteers have put 45,000 hours into 108 trails within Washington's trail network just in 2008; last year more than 2000 folks poured more than 80,000 hours to fix our trails.

We have a ton of trailwork left to do this year, but below is a list of trails that have received the WTA touch in 2008. Feel inspired? Sign up for a work party today. Don't worry if you're not too tall or too strong - we can find important things for you to do whether you're 7 or 87.
