A Skagit Native, Andrew grew up hiking with his adventurous parents in Washington and developed a love for the area that prompted him to embark on a nine year career with the National Park Service, most recently working for the North Cascades National Park. He comes to WTA to develop the newest aspect of WTA’s growing youth program, one that provides outdoor leadership training, gear lending, and support for teachers and organizations that want to take youth out on trails. An avid climber and mountain biker, he also spends plenty of time hiking and backpacking with his wife and dog. He frequents the North Cascades but would like to someday complete the Wonderland Trail. Email: andrew@wta.org
