New Youth Volunteer Vacation Trip! Pacific Crest Trail at Goodwin Meadows August 20-27

WTA has added an incredible late summer hiking, backpacking and trail maintenance opportunity to work on the Pacific Crest Trail. This trip is open to teens ages 15 to 18 with some previous trail maintenance experience.

Two New Knothead Views of the Little Spokane

In the last few years, WTA's trail maintenance volunteers have been working improving and expanding the extensive trail system at Riverside State Park outside Spokane. Volunteers broke ground on the new Knothead Trail in 2013. This spring, they completed work on a new section of the trail that takes hikers to two scenic viewpoints overlooking the Little Spokane River.
