Flowers are at their peak on this hike. Thanks to my local guides for the quick trip up Badger. It was a good leg stretch, with lovely views, spring flowers and even some ice age flood history erratically thrown in the mix. All and all a good hike. You should go soon if you want to see the lupine, camas and balsamroots in all their glory.

This is a VERY popular trail and the only reason I'm really posting a report is because this is THE time to go if you're thinking about it. All the wildflowers are in bloom (balsam roots, lupine, phloxes etc). So go brave the crowds because this week is probably as good as it's gonna get as far as scenery on this trail goes.

Quick and easy elevation. Steep in places but evens out nicely.
