We did a trail run and the trail is in good condition, slightly muddy in some spots but easily passable. Horse manure in the middle of trail often, so watch out! Ample parking. I didn't find the trail very easy to follow but we found our way nonetheless. I recommend printing out a copy from their website to familiarize yourself before heading out. Restrooms were very clean, and they have a shower. When horses are in the arena or on the trails, you have to give right of way to them and announce your presence by talking.

Easy park to get to, plus pretty empty on a sunny weekend evening! Took an evening walk on the Trillium Loop trail. Saw a couple of horses in the beginning, but none on our hike. We did see plenty of horse poop though, so watch your step! Happy to see trillium and a few other small flowers blooming. Most trilliums were only in clumps of 1 - 3 flowers.

Something to break up the days car shopping. It was a morning of rain, hail, and sunshine. We arrived around three with sunshine and hiked a small loop. We saw quite a few trillium. There were a few muddy spots and horse apples to watch for. Good for short legs.

Bridle Trails State Park is close to my home, so I come here for a jog/walk quite often. There are several trails around the park, however, they are not very well marked. I always follow the Trillium trail that goes around the park. There were some fallen trees from the recent wind storm. And lots of broken branches. This park requires a Discover Pass in order to park here, so make sure you have one because park rangers frequent the area. Or you can park outside the state park, right by the main road. There is wide gravel side, so it is pretty safe to park here, in case you don't have a Discover Pass. This park is great for jogging, and you might see people horseback riding. No bikes are allowed on the trails though! There is nothing too exciting, so unless you live in the area it might not be the best hiking spot. But okay if you want some breath of fresh air and to clear your head.

Bella and I did the 1.6 mile trail. It was level and very easy, though a bit soggy. Encountered a few joggers as this was a great trail for running.
