THU 15may2024, a drizzly morning for my urban-walk n Kenmore WA.
~05:40 i arrived and parked at the Kenmore Park & Ride. Then Out i went on the "road link connectors" to include ~1 mi of the Burke Gilman Trail, and a ~0.7 mile section on the NE of Saint Edward State Park.
During my ~3+ hours of walk, encountered a total of 6 people walking, 2 jogging, and 4 were cycling. Everyone's friendly and courteous. Traffic was light. And ~80% of the "road link connectors" were Sidewalks.
The Rhododendron Park was lovely. Also, despite the drizzle, there were a few eternal optimists at the Boat Launch/Sammamish River .. fishing 👍😀
Btw, the Restrooms at the Boat Launch was opened and clean - thank you Park Maintenance folks 👍
"Interestingly", my Hiking Apps: Alltrails, Caltopo, and GaiaGPS - all had "GPS Signal Lost" error. My guess is that i clocked: Distance ~9 mi, Total Time 3:03
Cheers!

Early TUE 14may2024 morning, i went to Ballard WA for an urban walk.
~05:50 i arrived and parked at Ballard Fred Myer parking lots. Nice cool 50s_F and sunny .. And i went on a"Figure_8 Loop" for ~1.8 mile of Burke Gilman Trail (between Ballard Bridge and Fremont Bridge) and the neighborhood.
On the Burke Gilman Trail were many Cyclists (probably, total ~100) and only total ~10 people walking or jogging. Traffic was light. And ~100% of the "road link connectors" were Sidewalks.
Cheers!

Early MON 13may2024 morning, i went to Seattle WA for an urban walk.
~05:45 i was the second to arrive and park at the Mid Ravenna Park parking lot. And OUT i went on a CCW-Loop on "road link connectors" through ~2.5 mile of Burke Gilman Trail, the neighborhood > Ravenna Park.
Of the "road link connectors", ~100% were on Sidewalks. Also, traffic was light, and a few people were walking.
On the Burke Gilman Trail were a total of ~20 Cyclists, ~20 Walking and 5 Joggers.
Getting back in to Ravenna Park, i noticed some (small) "Stickers" that says (or protests): "THIS PARK WAS CLEARED WITH VIOLENCE", "IF EVERYONE CAN'T AFFORD THE RENT", THEY SHOULDN'T F#*&ING TAKE OUR TENT" .. My guess is that there were encampments in Ravenna Park that were cleared?? Anyway, walking further along, i noticed a person "cowboy-camp" in the woods.
When i got back to the Parking ~08:40, i noticed that the "first" vehicle (a Red color Sedan) was still in the parking lot. i took a closer look at the vehicle and i noticed that its Driver's Side-mirror was brokened and dangling from its holder. Also, a "loaf size" concrete block was directly behind its Rear Tire; and some bags and "stuff" were scattered inside the vehicle.
Btw, other then the above-mentioned "Stickers" and vehicle, Ravenna Park was nice and clean.
Cheers!
Clocked: ~8.1 mi, Ascent 617 ft, Total Time 2:47

Please be aware of the "Animal Safety Alert" w.r.t. Toxic Blue Green Algae in the Sammamish River (at/around Blyth Park).
TUE 09apr2024 ~06:15 i was the first to arrive and parked in Blyth Park, Bothell WA. ~2+ hours later, 2 vehicles had arrived (and parked).
Started drizzling and it ended ~2 hours later. Out i went on a CCW-Loop via "road link connectors" .. Blyth Park > Piper's Glen > ~1 mi of Tolt Pipeline Trail > ~0.6 mi of Burke Gilman Trail > Blyth Park.
V light traffic on the road link connectors (~2 miles on Sidewalks, and ~0.6 mi on Road-shoulders). Saw no other person walking on the road link connectors, TPT, or BGT. Saw some small birds in the woods. Relatively peaceful and quiet.
Blyth Park was nice and clean. The Restrooms weren't open when i first arrived (~06:15). But when i got back at ~09:15, these were opened; its relatively clean.
Tracking errors/interuptions on 2 of my Hiking Apps (myguess is that my Phone is "extra sensitive" to wet weather. Luckily, the 3rd : Caltopo ran fine 🙃
Cheers!
MON 01apr2023 ~06:30 arrived to the parking of Matthews Beach Park; its Gate was still shut. i turned around to park at a Pullout (its probably for the Burke Gilman Trail) off-Sand Point Way NE. i was the only one to park at this Pullout Parking. And when i got back ~2 hours later, i was still the only one there.
Out i went on a CCW_Loop: Parking > ~2.8 miles of the Burke Gilman Tr > "road link connectors" > Meadowbrook Pond > Parking.
~90% of the "road link connectors" have Sidewalks. Light traffic on the roads.
While on BGT, only saw a total of ~12+ cyclists, ~2 jogging, and 3 walking with 2 dogs. Nearing/at Meadowbrook Pond, saw total ~10 people and 4 dogs, and some ducks in the Pond.
Relatively nice and sweet solitude walk 😊
Cheers!
