Beware of: road conditions

Myself and 3 friends hiked the upper trail to Cora Lake on Thanksgiving. The trailhead was a bit difficult to find but is on the right on the way to High Rock. The trail was in great shape but a little muddy and slippery. No traction needed though. I am unsure of the length and elevation but it was certainly more than 400 ft so if you are looking for a bit more of a workout I would recommend it. There was a lot of fog but the lake was still very pretty.

We hiked the Big creek trail #252 up to Cora lake. The road was pretty decent with some pot holes, but nothing terrible. I was sad to see lots of litter off the road by the trail head, including dirty diapers, beer cans, and many empty shot gun shells (this is a no shooting zone). The entrance to the trail is on the left hand side of the forest rd and clearly marked. Its a pretty simple/short trek up (about a mile up,2 round trip)  but you do have to cross big creek twice, I would recommend poles just for the extra stability here, but we did without. There are at least 5 campsites right by the lake that we found, and they do seem to fill up. There were two groups of campers there when we got there, but both bailed due to onset of rain, and a 3rd group going up as we left. The lake is beautiful and clear and definitely full of fish, we saw them jumping.

P.S. thanks to the folks who left our bear spray at the trail head that fell out of my partners pack, we didn't even know it was missing until we saw it there.

Went up for a Multi Day backpacking trip and the roads were still covered in snow at least 1ft in spots. It may be a while before road to trail head has no snow.

Beautiful clear day.  Waterfalls as pretty as ever.  I've missed this place.  There is some logging going on the road downhill of the trailhead, the road is muddy there.  Should present no issues unless your car has very low clearance.
