Trail is in good condition. Only passed four other parties or individuals on the way up. This is a steep hike so be ready for a workout. The view at the top is amazing! A beautiful valley surrounded by peaks.

Because this hike is shorter, I would suggest pairIng this with Stagosaurus Butte, it’s only five minutes down the road. Both are short and steep.

Amazing hike on a rainy day. There were only 3-4 other parties on the trail and it wasn't hard to socially distance. It was raining all the time which might have kept the crowds limited.

There is a great view at the top, however we didn't get much of it since it was cloudy. We got a great view of either the Middle fork Snoqualmie River or the Taylor river just before the trailhead though, See pic.

We had a great time hiking this trail with a 9 and 6 year old - not too difficult.  Arrived at the trailhead right before 9am on a cloudy Saturday.  There were about five cars in the parking lot total, but I saw some of those hikers head off to different trails.  We took it slow with kids to the top - arrived at 9:45 and spent about 40 minutes up there.  We only saw 4-5 other groups the entire time we were on the trail.  We are big into social distancing and there were tons of easy places to push off the side of the trail throughout to keep six feet apart from others.  We were back to the car by 11 and there weren't many more cars than when we started.

The sign at the trailhead says the bathroom is closed, however they're not locked (looks like they're just not keeping them supplied with TP).  Make sure to check out the river bank right behind the picnic tables in the parking lot - it's a very cool spot to relax with a snack.  Just a couple giant potholes right before the parking lot, nothing too terrible.

Great hike! I'm up visiting WA, and took my mom out for this hike today. I've never really explored the Middle Fork area, and wow, I was impressed!

Paved road the entire way with beautiful views of the river driving in. The trailhead was crowded with many cars, but it serves several other trails & we only encountered a handful of parties on the actual Garfield Ledges trail. The trail was in great shape, a few sections of mud but nothing to write home about. Solid tread & a perfect one to bring my mom to - she's just getting into hiking and she loved this trail.

Views from the top looking out over the Snoqualmie River Valley were much more impressive than the views you get of the freeway from a standard I-90 corridor hike.

Arrived at around 5 pm for an evening hike. There were a few cars at the trailhead but plenty of room to park. On the trail, there were a few somewhat muddy spots, but outside of these the trail was in excellent condition. Ran into a few other hikers along the way but there was plenty of room to keep distant.
