WTA's hiking guide is the most comprehensive database of hikes in Washington, and comprises content written by local hiking experts and user submitted information. All data is vetted by WTA staff. This resource is made possible by the donations of WTA members.

The Pass Lake Loop provides a nice, quiet forested trail near the popular Deception Point State Park. The trailhead is near the boat launch for Pass Lake at the junction of Highway 20 and Rosario Road.

The Peterson Lake Natural Area is a haven for wildlife and an important part of keeping clean water running through the Cedar River Watershed in the ever-growing urban areas of King County. It is essential wetland habitat for many species of fish, birds, mammals, amphibians, and reptiles.
