Lots of camps at the farm this morning, but plenty of parking in the little lot at 9 am.  My kids hiked the loop around the farm and we stopped to see the sheep, pigs and chickens.  They love the playground but we didn't have time for that today.  Great way to spend the morning!

Cute little park walk in Bellevue.  Went early in the morning and had the park to myself.  Dogs are not allowed in the Kelsey Creek Farm area, but you can walk your pups around the farm area on the path.  Veered off to the Lake to Lake Trail, connecting right at the park.

Definitely more of a park walk than a hike, but a good way to get out with the dog on a Sunday morning.

Yet another gem of a wooded area in Bellevue. Lots of school trips drop kids off here for the farm, but expand your sights further and do the eastern loop. Map and trailhead information is at the Bellevue link in the footer of this trip report. I parked in the parking area and headed towards the eastern loop trail. It started off fairly exposed, but quickly hit the woods. There were plenty of low bridges over creeks, making it a great hike to test out your new water filter. Halfway through there was a set of staircases. The ones pictured are just the first of them, they are followed by at least 3-5 more making for a nice vertical workout. After finishing the eastern loop, I came back into the western loop and headed south. I had the time and energy to finish it, but had never been to the farm in the middle before, so I decided to cut through the middle of the western loop and check it out. When I was there, the animals were all somewhere else, but I've heard they are generally out earlier in the day (this hike was just after noon, so they must have been especially lazy this day... :)
