Needed to get an outdoor adventure in before the end of the month. Padden is perfect for this! Trail was not too wet and the dog loved all the smells
It was a fun adventure!

Needed to get in a quick hike on work day. Did upper trail area with my dog and saw no one. Beautiful and quiet and so green. Soothed my busy mind. So nice to be able to be immersed in forest beauty so close to home.

Went for a quick morning walk around Lake Padden. Main loop is in great condition, and not too busy on this Wednesday morning. Passed a few walkers and joggers. Folks were already set up and fishing on the docks. Great urban trail in the Bellingham area for a dose of beautiful nature. 

Walked the 2.6 lake loop to find a cooler place on a hot PNW day to get outside and it was perfect. The lake was busy on a Sunday evening with all kinds of activity picnics, BBQ's and water fun. Swimming, fishing and everything in between. The trail wasn't bad even though the lake was busy with activities. Great place and if you want to add more of a hike on to your walk hit the trails on the south end area of the lake by the dog park, there are lots of well marked trails with a variety of terrain for difficulty to check out. Take a hike.
