I walked the trail in Lincoln Park on Black Friday, choosing to #OptOutside instead of the alternative. There had been a steady rain the day before, so the trails were a bit muddy in spots, but nothing I couldn't handle. A quick, easy walk.

Just another typical day along the shores of Lincoln Park. Beautiful views of the Olympic Mountains.

Great wrap up for our hike-a-thon month. Put us over 400 team miles! It was a little overcast and cool and the Pokemon players were not as thick as they have been recently. Near the pool we saw an osprey doing touch-and-goes and a harbor porpoise. Very lucky to have this park and its named trails so close!

Trail 1 and trail 2 loop, 1 & 1/2 times. 5:30 AM start. Saw a few other people, including some early-morning Pokemon farmers. The park seems to have added some new signage to help protect the new users from themselves. Saw lots of birds (heard an eagle) and some rabbits and squirrels.

This is a great park/ trail that you can escape to located in West Seattle. It is a short trail that has great views and on some days you are able to see ocean wildlife. There is also a paved section that you can ride your bike. (see picture) I go on this route almost daily, but it is a great view of Seattle and an easy trail to run, ride your bike, grill, outdoor activities.
