There are many trails to follow at this site. We ended up getting in about 6 miles round trip. Most of the main trails are in good condition and easy to navigate. The biggest issue was mud on the main lines. We went down some of the side paths and they are narrow, very muddy and had small creek crossings.. We did climb over 1 tree on the way down to the river. All in all a nice place to hike.

Muddy in many areas. Beautiful lakes and the sun shines beautifully through the trees.

Inspired by the gnomes in the last report, I decided to head back to Lord Hill. I didn't find the little guys but I did enjoy the fresh air. The main trails are in good shape. Its good to wear the right shoes so you can go through the muddy spots instead of around, creating bigger mud holes. Most of the mud is a little frozen and crunchy but there are some areas where you could slip if you're going too fast. Lots of little brown birds in the bushes and grass, plus the sound of woodpeckers in the woods.
