The driving directions on WTA's hike description are correct on a series of forest service roads that are in startlingly good condition. However, we started from Coho Campground, with much less specific driving directions taken from the campground bulletin boards. To be clear, the spur after crossing the bridge is marked with a "275 100" mike marker post - the trailhead is maybe 50 feet after the spur turnoff on the right hand side. There is some shoulder parking available, barely. Given that we drove right past the trailhead and didn't see it, we ended up hiking down the road staying to the right to find another trailhead to the same trail. Safest bet is to walk back towards the main forest service road and look for the trail on the left. The sign doesn't mention the falls, exactly, since it's fallen apart. Go left from the sign, then when the trail "T"s to meet back with the road, go right. If you were like us and went down the road, when you get on the trail and it "T"s to go back towards the main forest service road or go straight, go straight.
The trail is in good condition and it's an easy walk to the falls. By the time you get near the falls, though, the trail does have some small drainage issues requiring some tiptoeing around wet areas and mud. The falls themselves are worth the hike - as with the trail sign, the bridge over the gorge has some issues with missing handrails, thankfully not in the middle of the bridge itself.
A nice, short hike with nobody else around and a waterfall reward at the end!
