Took the three-year-old on a 2-mile stroll around the lake, including going up and down many of the little side trails to the shore. There was plenty of crunchy snow on portions of the trail (about as often as there were clear portions), but it was compacted without being too terribly icy. The bathrooms, thankfully, were open. There was a nice little beach on the west side with a lovely view of the snow-dusted mountains. We ran into a comfortable number of folks - she got to pet a couple dogs, but we got some nice stretches to ourselves, too. Overall an enjoyable and painless outing!
