Overall, the trail was in good condition, with only one fallen tree obstructing the path, but it was easily navigable by ducking underneath it.
After hiking about four miles, we arrived at the Grand Prospect viewpoint. There were remnants of snow near the picnic area, where we took a moment to snap a few photos. We then pressed on for an additional mile before finally pausing to savor our lunch at a convenient bench along the trail. Certain portion of this trail section were crunchy with every step, due to the frozen water condensation lurking beneath the surface.
It was a fabulous day!

Snoqualmie Point to Grand Prospect

Rain/exercise hike, but the front was scattered and we only got a few minutes of heavy drizzle.

Slight incline that makes the thighs burn but easy enough and pleasing. I made the rookie error of only starting the hike at 8:30am on a Sunday. Not too crowded heading up but too many people at the summit to enjoy the beauty. On the way down was like the 5 on a Monday at rush hour. Great for people watching but awful for some solitude with nature.

Great hike. My 12-year-old hiked it with no problems. If you are looking for solitude it's best to go early. It wasn't until the way back that we ran into other hikers.
