Beware of: trail conditions

A nice, easy walk in the woods. TONS of horse poop all over the trail though so you really have to watch where you step.

Got to the trailhead about 2pm, trail was pretty clear except for some muddy parts. Oh and horse poo! That was more upsetting to see than if there was dog poo. The trees were nice shade for a slightly warm day. Signs were pretty clear to read, unless you forget to read one of them and keep walking past the trail. Which my friend and I did, after walking past houses we figured we must have made a mistake. I think my walking app track us in about 5.5 miles roundtrip. The marsh was so still and a nice little break spot. A few ducks out, some squirrels... Nice little trails not far from the city to get away to. Made it back to the car about 4:50.

Great trails. Not much mud even after heavy rain. Some flowers on trees. Nice wide trails, mostly flat.

Great little network of trails - really well maintained and well laid out with plenty of signage. Can do anything from a super easy stroll to a nice flat 5 mile walk.

A very easy hike perfect for taking children along. All the trees and foliage are lush and green, although it was raining when I hiked, so there was some mud and soft ground with some horse tracks, but not too bad. Get there well before 4:30 as that is when the gate closes, and I had to cut the hike short.
