A short and sweet little hike to a beautiful waterfall with a placid pool. There seem to be trails, not a trail, down to Spoon Creek Falls from the parking area. If you listen for the sound of the waterfall, you'll find your way there. 

After we enjoyed wading in the falls' pool and climbing on the logs by the pool, we explored the area above the waterfall from the clearing at the far end of the parking area. Here we found rock beautifully carved into chutes by the water. It's worth checking out this upper area. 

Short hike.  Great for kids.  We got lost on the way there missed the turn. Loved viewing this fall.  Seems like it would be a great place to play in during extreme heat.  

Hikes this trail/falls as part of three we went too around Wynoochee Lake. This was a nice easy hike and beautiful pools of water that I’d love to visit during a very hot day.

"Detoured" here between Aberdeen and a Queets area Airbnb. Super short downhill with the boys (8&5) and what a payoff! Took a swim and had a beautiful hour in the river before continuing on.

The river was too high to safely get out to a view of the falls but the trail was beautiful and well maintained. The recent wind storm did some damage, but crews already cleared trees off the trail.
