Tenas Mountain
Tenas Mountain is a prominent peak just west of the Columbia River north of Pateros. This 5-mile round trip mid-spring way-finding (no formal trail) hike in open grass lands offers abundant wildflowers, birds, glacial erratics and a 360 degree view that covers the Columbia River orchards, Okanogan high country and views up into the Chelan Sawtooth Wilderness. All of this accompanied with a remote solitude that is ever harder to come by.
