This is one of my go tos for wet days - outside but not climbing and not missing out on views!

There are 17 blowdowns on the trail right now - most I could step over easily but a couple required climbing or a bit of bushwhacking around.

Just a heads up it’s a slight obstacle course right now after the bomb cyclone (I assume)

After the recent windstorm a trees remain across the trail. But trail crews have done a great job and already cleared a bunch of trees. Some trees I had to step over and some I had to crawl under.

Dog and I hiked trails in direction of Around the Lake trail > Bus trail > Wetlands trail > Big Tree trail > Swamp trail. The downed trees we had to tend with were on Big Tree and Around Lake trails.

Nice short hike close to the city

Good hike, manageable even for my-2.5 year-old. Recommend putting bug spray on but definitely not too bad! Fun and easy hike overall!

Trail was super nice and easy, great mix of sunny and shady.
