It was really wonderful. Wildflowers galore. I would've made it to the Lookout but due to a patch of snow about 0.5 miles to the Summit, it was too hard to cross for me without poles.
Make sure you're okay with an off-roading type experience, especially after Yellow Aster Butte because it's a bumpy ride. I've been on worse roads and overnight inside the Lookout would probably be awesome right now.
