Fallsview Canyon (Falls View) — Saturday, Jan. 23, 2021

Olympic Peninsula > Hood Canal

View of falls is a very short walk from car, approximately 0.25 Miles from roadside parking. Falls are pretty but can hardly call this a trail/walk.. it’s a just viewing point.

Bob and Barb on Fallsview Canyon (Falls View)

There is actually a 1.5 mile loop trail to the left of the trail to the upper viewpoint of the falls. It descends 200 feet in 0.1 mile to the raging water of the Big Quilcene River. The 1.5 loop trail follows the Big Quilcene River through a canopy of maples and mosses with a variety of ferns on the forest floor. At 0.5 mile you will see a trail left which will be your return to the TH. The canyon is usually very green and beautiful this time of year.
