Snow

Snowfields to cross - could be difficult

The road is still closed. You have to hike from visitor center to trail head which is about 1.3 miles one way. We hiked about a quarter mile on the snow free part trail and then turned around since I had my 2 year old on my back and there was still intermittent snow. Microspikes needed. We started around 8 and passed crowds of people just starting. Hopefully the road will open next week. Wildflowers were starting to pop!
