Just as the description of this hike states, if you are afraid of height and uncomfortable with your climbing skills, best to pass on this one. Before reaching the trailhead there is a 4-5 mile road on which you can either walk, run, or bike to. Don’t be fooled by the short distance of this hike. Slow and steady is the safest way to attempt this trail, so give yourself lots of time to reach that spectacular view of Lake Constance. The markers seemed to be few and far between but they are there, so it is important to keep your eyes wide open for these. There is no snow until you reach the lake, and with all the snow melt, continue to maintain caution as you walk across it. The bugs were present but not terrible. Highly recommend trail shoes made specifically for technical trails. Be sure to not miss the beautiful view of The Brothers!
