Beach Access is closed for the long awaited estuary restoration project which will improve fish habitat for this well loved park.

You can hike down 1.0 mile almost to the bridge where it is blocked off on the land side of the bridge at the Ranger's residence. Thus you can not walk onto the bridge. You can not and should not go around the fencing.

There is a big white sign at the top of the hill by the kiosk; but many folks did not notice it.

The wonderful woods walk remains a favorite training and work out hike with a brisk elevation gain of ~400' in a half mile section, complete with stairs! Plus a plethora of chirping birds in the tree canopy above.

NOTE: There is NO porta-potty at the bottom where the trail is closed off area. The porta potty is in the parking lot still.

Other options for beach access: Picnic Point County Park, just minutes away. OR the Edmonds waterfront has multiple beaches to play on.

Please leave no trace--pack out all that you came with: water bottles-masks-candy wrappers. Enjoy.
