Beware construction and bottlenecks on Deception Pass bridges, cars parked down the road and both workers and tourists walking along the hwy. Not too much to say about the hike that hasn't been said. We started at the bottom (Discover Pass and loo) hiked around the Pratt Loop, then back down to the Bluff trail and along the Bluff. The tide was out and the walking was easy on damp sand, so we extended out trip by hiking north all the way to the point and below Fort Ebey State Park, maybe added another mile. That part of the beach had lots of erosion and spots where the sand had come down, looked like an avalanche chute but with sand, plus a sandfall instead of a waterfall. Beautiful blue water, sailboats, ships and pleasure boats on the water today and why not, it's the best of summer now. We had a pretty good wildlife count, eagles, a heron, a deer, bunnies, and an otter. When we turned around and came out we could see Mt Rainier in the distance, but Baker was being a bit shy behind the clouds today. A great hike any time of year and popular, get there early or you will be parking on the road.  Hikeathon is coming up and of course I will be participating, so look for: give.wta.org/Muledeer2021
