We spent a lovely overnight at Second Beach. The trail is in fine condition and quite short (less than a mile) and the beach is flat, wide, and sandy with ample opportunity to walk, especially at low tides. There is not much in the way tide pools compared to other beaches but the seastacks are impressive.
Camping was great. We found an ideal spot in the woods overlooking the beach. We brought all our own water because we were not sure about fresh water opportunities. There is a small stream about a mile south of the TH leading from the beach but bringing our own proved to be a good idea. There were probably 30 tents along the beach early Saturday morning.
