Mount Pilchuck — Monday, Aug. 5, 2024

Arrived at the parking lot after a smooth ride on the newly opened road at about 7 am.  13 cars already in the lot.  Seems there is now a sunrise rush hour for the summit, as we found out from folks we met as they came down.  We arrived to an empty lookout at about 9:30.  Lots of folks followed us up. There were 45 cars in the lot when we got down about 12:30.  Wonderful hike.  So happy this favorite is once again possible without a high clearance vehicle.  The trail is in wonderful condition.  Lots of people out enjoying a sunny Monday
