Hiked on Friday. We parked at the lower trailhead. Some snow, but someone had plowed a good portion. An AWD or 4x4 recommended. The first mile and a half is ok without snowshoes, but a a little above where the upper trailhead meets the lower trail, the snow began to get deeper. We turned around at about 2 1/2 mark from the lower trailhead. There were two gentlemen with snowshoes and they continued. If you’re not experience, turn around once the snow starts to get deeper about 1/4 mile after the two trails junction.
