Trip Report

Middle Fork Snoqualmie River — Sunday, Apr. 10, 2011

Snoqualmie Region > North Bend Area
No one else in parking lot which was nice, roughly 5-6 major blow-downs on trail up to cripple creek bridge. Large trees have fallen and crushed parts on bridges and walkways, but trail itself was not too muddy. We attempted to turn off to Tin Cup Joe Falls at Cripple Creek. There was up to 3ft of snow and many blow downs making hiking nearly impossible. Took over an hour to make the .75 miles towards the falls. Made it to lower falls and decided to turn around to make it back in time before it got too dark. Too many branches for snowshoes. Would definitely wait for at least a month to attempt this hike.
