North Cascades > Mountain Loop Highway

What a great day for a hike. It was sunny and not too hot. The bugs weren't a problem either. This is a relatively easy hike with just a couple of short and not to steep elevation gains. The tree/log water crossing isn't too difficult to cross. We were hiking with a dog who had a great time too. Many families on bikes. The old town of Monte Cristo has some still standing structures and a railroad turnaround. We had lunch a one of the picnic tables available and did some exploring afterwards.
