We did a nice hike today to Sauer's Mountain. As explained in the hike description here on the WTA website, this trail begins on private land. It's a really fun section of the trail, with various wooden signs and decorations. Flowers were abundant. Beautiful fields of Glacier Lillies, and large numbers of Balsamroot. There was no snow to be found. We only saw some snow on the higher hills in the area (probably Sugarloaf), but it looks like that is very quickly disappearing as well. Thanks to the clear weather we had great views of the Enchantments, Icicle Ridge, Glacier Peak, etc. The trail is in great shape. This is a wonderful hike for early spring!
