Chain Lakes Loop — Tuesday, Aug. 26, 2014

North Cascades > Mount Baker Area

Beautiful day for a hike. We did the loop, clockwise from the Visitor Center. It was a long 6.5 miles. Lots of up and down and rocky trail in places. We usually do about 2 miles and hour, but this took us over 4 hours. But the views were worth it. Baker, Shuksan, and several mountain lakes plus pika squeaking almost the entire way.
