Marshall's Hill, Wildside Trail-De Leo Wall, Quarry, Coal Creek Falls & Cave Hole — Sunday, Sep. 21, 2014

Issaquah Alps > Cougar Mountain
don't fall in any of the old mine shafts
Quick walk in the woods on Cougar Mountain Sunday morning. Made a loop starting from the Redtown Trailhead taking Wildside, Marshall's Hill, De Leo Wall, Indian Trail, Quarry Trail, Coal Creek Falls and back around on Cave Hole. The trails are in great shape - the whole area is very dry. Coal Creek Falls is barely damp. Even though it was pretty hazy and couldn't see Mt. Rainier at all, the views off De Leo were still very nice.
only a week left in September and the forest is still completely green - virtually no fall color yet
the view looking southwest off De Leo Wall toward Seatac Airport - awfully hazy today
looking roughly southeast from De Leo Wall - of the two nobs left of center I believe the right one is Cedar Mountain just this side of Ravensdale
