We arrived about 10:00 am and parking lot was full, however we able to park on a shoulder. Nevertheless it was very crowded, trail is very nice and has scenic views on Cascade Mountains, as well as a couple of waterfalls. There are a lot of creek crossings, so be sure to wear a proper shoes. The last mile of trail is pretty rough - it's rocky. The lake itself is very nice, and view of Mt Pilchuk is amazing!
P.S. Restrooms didn't have toilet paper - so bring yours.
