The road to the hike was completely passable for any vehicle, but the parking lot was icy, and I ended up having to get pushed in/out of my parking spot, so be aware of that.
As for the trail, it was easy! We came across deep snow on the last 1/3 of the hike, but it's packed down enough to walk on with regular boots (though I could have used my microspikes, I really didn't need to). There was some snowmelt on the trails, so waterproof shoes/boots are very helpful. At one part on the trail, you could tell there was a landslide or avalanche, and there's a bit of a mess with fallen trees and branches, but its very easy to pass. The lake is beautiful! It seems as though you can walk around it easily, but I didn't have enough time today.
