Poo Poo Point - Chirico Trail — Saturday, Jul. 30, 2016

Issaquah Alps > Tiger Mountain
Needing a hike close to the town & a short enough distance for the few hours of free time we had, we chose to hike the Chirico Trail up to Poo Poo Point, and boy are we glad we did! Despite the crowds, we had such a lovely time as a family. The trail is in good condition, and we actually passed a volunteer (out and back) who was working on the stone step portion of the hike. Getting to see paragliders all along the way (hiking up, launching at the North Viewpoint, and then landing at the trailhead) was such a treat, and has made for some great memories. It also made the steep climb more bearable for our 4-year old since he had some incentive--getting to see people launch themselves off of a ridge with a parachute is pretty exciting!
