We had read that the road was not in great shape but it has been fixed. One creek crossing was missing a log but there was a reasonably easy alternative just up stream. Once the water level falls a little it should not be an issue. The hike was a nice spring warm up for more strenuous trips once conditions improve higher up. It was also a nice walk with wild flowers and moss. The trail was pretty muddy in places but never really an issue.
