Had a great time hiking this shady trail. Arrived at the trail head around 8:45 AM, plenty of space left to park. Lot was pretty full by the time we left, around 12:45 PM.
Lots of biting flies at the lake, everyone was complaining about them. Good time to break out the DEET heavy bug repellent.
