Mt. Walker is one of those NW hikes that stuns with its beauty in every season for different reasons. Today, the fog hung in the trees on this late-summer day. At the top, the olympic peaks poked out of the top of the low-hanging clouds. As always, it was a tough stair-climber to the top, but certainly worth the reward of the look-out at the top. I recommend this hike for any occasion.
